Accreditation

Family Services Employee Assistance Program is accredited by the Employee Assistance Society of North America (EASNA).

We understand that telling you about or best practices is not enough - for your business or for ours. It is for this reason that we put our organization and our services up to independent scrutiny through the EASNA Accreditation Process.

EASNA is an association for Employee Assistance Program (EAP) professionals and organizations. EASNA associates specialize in workplace and family wellness, employee benefits, and organizational development. The EASNA accreditation program was established in 1980 to promote standards of excellence for EAP practitioners. EASNA standards are regularly updated to reflect changes in the field of EAP.

As an EASNA associate, FSEAP undergoes regular peer reviews in addition to incorporating the EASNA Code of Ethics as part of our quality assurance process. This assures that we achieve the highest quality of service for our clientele. EASNA’s Code of Ethics assist in monitoring the following areas of practice:

  • Competence
  • Misrepresentation
  • Public statements
  • Client’s informed consent
  • Relation with the client
  • Confidentiality and anonymity
  • Client Records
  • Withdrawal of services
  • Referrals
  • Relationships with other practitioners and professionals
  • Business practices including pricing/billing, reporting, marketing/sales
  • Ethical practices and procedures for complaint resolution
