fseap is the real thing. Professional. Personal. Caring. Collaborative. Real service. Real outcomes. A real difference. These are not just words to us, they are our life and breath – what makes us different and simply put, what makes us better.

Professional. fseap is a national provider of employee and family assistance programs, wellness solutions and organizational consulting. Our national service capabilities are able to support employee populations large and small, centralized or disbursed, urban or remote. We partner with organizations to inspire and sustain a healthy workplace. Our own embedded culture of collaboration, inspires our EAP partnerships. Every program that we design is unique to the organization and based on mutual goals.

Personal. Our aim is to make every interaction with the EAP, regardless at what level it takes place, a personal and meaningful experience. We have resources across the country but we’re still small enough to give people the attention and personal connection they need. We favour personal service over self service. We work with people and organizations to build trusting, impactful relationships. We do this, because we genuinely care about helping people to make positive changes in their life, work and environment.

Real service. Real outcomes. We know that the majority of people who contact us have real problems and that an information kit or self help tool is not what they need. We make sure that clients have a choice of options for communicating directly with a counsellor. We make sure that all clients have access to short-term in-person counselling to resolve their issues. We know that this approach works, because we’re seeing results from our counselling services that are as much as three times as effective as those of our larger competitors.

A real difference. fseap is the only national non-profit EAP. We donate our proceeds to support Family Services programs in the community. Family Services agencies, located across Canada, share a common vision of healthy, vibrant and thriving communities. They provide diverse programming, from general counselling and family-life education to specialized services for at-risk populations. Most services are provided free or on an ability to pay basis. Employees can take pride in the fact that their company supports their EAP in directing resources to their local communities.
