Who Are We?
Family Services Employee Assistance Programs (FSEAP) is a national network of service agencies in Canada. Our roots are in community-based counselling services.

Our national services are enhanced with specialized regional services and access to local community-based programs to address the needs of all organizations regardless of size and location.

We're local

FSEAP member agencies have decades of experience working in, with, and for their communities. Our counsellors have diverse backgrounds and expertise. Our services reflect local needs.

Each member of the FSEAP network offers:

  • a unique understanding of workplace and community issues
  • local program management support
  • special local and regional services designed to meet the needs of individual work sites

 

We're national

FSEAP provides employee assistance programs to 5,000 organizations with 1,000,000 employees and work sites from Halifax to Victoria. With over 1,000 service locations, we're one of Canada's largest providers.

The FSEAP national network offers:

  • a broad range of core services that are available throughout Canada
  • standardized quality controls to ensure the highest level of service at every location
  • centralized program administration

Depth of Experience

FSEAP was the first provider of employee assistance programs (EAPs) in Canada. We have 25 years of experience servicing our corporate clients. We have managed successful programs in every economic sector for more than 5,000 organizations ranging in size from less than 20 employees to more than 60,000.

FSEAP's experience ensures clients that we can meet their needs both now and in the future.

 

 
Quality Service

The FSEAP network's National Quality Assurance Standards set requirements for staff, services and programs. Counsellors hold a minimum of a master's degree with five years' experience and are directly supervised. Client satisfaction surveys and program meetings provide regular feedback on services. Annual program evaluations demonstrate that the EAP is meeting objectives.

FSEAP quality controls ensure that programs are effective, and that clients receive the same level of service regardless of location.

 

 
Community Programs

FSEAP community programs provide counselling and support services for low income families who might not otherwise have access. FSEAP believes that by strengthening an individual's ability to cope, we are helping to build healthier communities for everyone.

FSEAP community programs are funded through our Employee Assistance Programs. So organizations who choose FSEAP as their EAP provider are also choosing to help individuals and families in need.
